Arcane Terra by Razowi Arcane Terra by Razowi
Hey Guys :D

Hope you guys like my new piece which I finished a while back. Dunno why I took so long to upload (workload i'm guessing o_o'), but here it is :D.

Think I'm getting faster at creating these and hope I'm getting better at the same time :P.

Thanks for all the comments, faves and deviantwatches ^_^. I don't mind any criticism so don't be afraid :D It really helps! :D.

:O I'm surprised at all the faves I had this morning and have tried to get through to thanking each of you guys individually. However the system thinks I'm spamming :( so once again for those who never got a thanks from me. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Love the little swirls on top of the rocks. Reminds me of a game called Lost Winds :D

I'm trying to get more into backgrounds and aside from doing observational drawing, i've no idea where to start? How do you choose the colours for example? do you just pick whatever you think'll look good at the time?

Hmm, when I started I just kept on experimenting whilst studying off of tutorials online, I realized fundamentals were a thing, so I looked into them and slowly tried to incorporate at least one of them into a painting at a time. I think if you do that you'll slowly get the hang of applying it without much effort (the same with colours) :) I'm still practicing myself and it's so early on, so I'm sorry if I couldn't answer your questions properly . Although I have left step by step images on my facebook/ twitter if you're interested in how my painting develop from start to finish. :) Good luck!
